CPI and Spartan Partner to offer lubrication solutions to Western Canada.

Compressor Products International (CPI) announced a strategic partnership with Spartan Controls, a Western Canadian company that provides process control, measurement, and automation solutions in the process industries. The distribution agreement between CPI and Spartan Controls allows Spartan to sell CPI-manufactured lubrication system components in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon Territories, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

“Spartan was looking to add lubrication products to its existing compression solutions offerings and CPI was looking for a strategic partner in Western Canada,” said Mike Iuliano, manager at Spartan Controls. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Spartan Controls provides instrumentation, engine controls, and emissions products to process industries in Western Canada.

“The opportunity for Spartan and CPI to offer lubrication products and other complementary solutions to the compression market made perfect sense. We both share a ‘customer first approach’ to our business.”

“CPI has a long history in Western Canada working directly with key customers,” said Robert Spadt, CPI’s channel manager for distribution and original equipment manufacturers. Headquartered in Houston, USA, CPI manufactures components for reciprocating compressors used in petrochemical, refining, natural gas, and offshore industries. CPI offers lubrication system technology for compressor efficiency and protection. “In partnering with Spartan in Western Canada, together we can now reach a much larger segment of the markets in Western Canada to provide world-class solutions to the every-changing compression industry. Spartan’s vast network and experience in the region align very well with CPI’s lubrication product technology both today and in the future.”
