Mora Energy has completed the purchase of two companies in the Midland basin, acquiring Tejon Treating and Carbon Solutions LLC (Tejon) and West Texas Midstream Gas Services LLC.
Tejon is a natural gas gathering, compression, and sour gas treating business in the northeast Midland Basin. Its assets are located in Howard and Mitchell counties, Texas. Phase 1 was completed in summer of 2023 and includes an initial low pressure gas gathering system, an amine treatment plant, and treated gas redelivery to area processors.
West Texas Midstream Gas Services, commonly known as the Quail system (Quail), consists of natural gas gathering and compression infrastructure in the northwest Midland Basin.
Together, Tejon and Quail establish an operating footprint for Mora Energy in the Midland Basin, comprising approximately 200 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines, four compressor stations, an amine treating facility, and an acid gas injection well.
Mora Energy’s operations now span Andrews, Martin, Howard, Borden, Scurry, and Mitchell Counties, Texas.
