MHPS Saudi Arabia Co., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Ltd. (MHPS), has opened a new turbine rotor repair facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. MHPS also intends to use the new facility as a base for servicing compressors and turbines used in petroleum and chemical plants.
Beginning in 2018, MHPS, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corp. (MCO), also a Group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), will handle maintenance and inspection of compressors and turbines delivered to Saudi Arabia by MCO.
