Waukesha Bearings Grows US Footprint

Waukesha Bearings has unveiled plans to expand its Antigo, Wisconsin, USA, manufacturing facility.

Waukesha Bearings has unveiled plans to expand its Antigo, Wisconsin, USA, manufacturing facility. The new construction will be nearly 35,000 sq.ft. (3251 m2) extension of the current building. Scheduled for completion in January 2020, the Antigo facility will have nearly 100,000 sq.ft. (9290 m2) of space.

Founded in 1946, Waukesha Bearings designs and manufactures engineered hydrodynamic bearings, active magnetic bearing systems, and high-performing seal technologies for oil and gas, power generation, marine, and industrial markets. Typical applications include gas, steam, and hydro turbines; centrifugal gas compressors; gearboxes; pumps; and motors. Waukesha Bearings is part of Dover Precision Components, a provider of performance-critical solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery.

The Antigo manufacturing facility is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Pawcatuck, Connecticut, USA. Waukesha Bearings also has facilities in the United Kingdom, China, and Mexico.
