Black Bear Transmission Expands Its Network

Black Bear Transmission LLC (Black Bear) has completed the acquisition of Ozark Gas Transmission LLC (Ozark Transmission) and Ozark Gas Gathering LLC (Ozark Gathering).

Ozark Transmission owns and operates a 367-mile (590-km) interstate natural gas pipeline transportation system in the United States. The system extends from southeastern Oklahoma through Arkansas to southeastern Missouri and has significant interconnectivity to major long-haul natural gas pipelines. Ozark Gathering owns and operates a fee-based, 330-mile (531-km) natural gas gathering system that connects regional production into Ozark Transmission’s pipeline.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA, Black Bear transports and delivers natural gas from various pipeline receipt points to power generation, industrial, and utility customers in the Southeast United States. The Company includes eight regulated natural gas pipelines stretching more than 1200 miles (1931 km) with total delivery capacity of more than 1.8 Bcfd (50.9 x 106 m3/d). The pipelines are connected to 12 major long-haul pipelines, supplying natural gas customers across Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
