Charles Ely has been named director of training at Cooper Machinery Services. Ely will develop and launch Cooper’s global suite of employee and customer training programs. He has 30+ years of leadership and technical experience in the compression industry, most recently working for Dresser-Rand where he was responsible for leading the company’s worldwide midstream strategic initiative. Prior to that, he led CECO’s consulting and training division, serving major gas pipelines and petrochemical clients across North America. Ely has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, both from West Virginia University.
