Olaf Berlien has been appointed president and CEO of INNIO. He succeeds Carlos Lange, who will remain with the company and will move to INNIO’s advisory board.
Over the past 30 years Berlien has held positions as a board member and managing director of technology companies such as IBM, Carl Zeiss, Thyssenkrupp Technologies, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, and Exyte. Most recently, he served for six years as CEO of Osram.
INNIO is a global supplier of gas engines and services for the power generation and gas compression industries. With its Jenbacher and Waukesha gas engines, INNIO generated sales of around US$1.6 billion in the fiscal year 2020.
