Atlas Copco has acquired Tecturbo, a Brazilian provider of centrifugal compressor parts and services. Located in Campinas in Sao Paulo State, Tecturbo specializes in replacement parts such as air and oil coolers, bearings, air and oil seals, diffusers, impellers, bull-gears, and pinions for most centrifugal compressor brands. In addition, it provides leasing and sales of new and remanufactured centrifugal compressors.
Tecturbo will become part of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique service division.
“Tecturbo has a strong reputation as a quality service provider and this acquisition will allow us to further strengthen our offering and increase our presence in South America,” said Philippe Ernens, president of the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique.
