A “Ballot Draft” API-11P 3rd Edition Specification for Packaged Reciprocating Compressors for Oil and Gas Production Services has been developed by a dedicated API Task Group. The proposed 3rd Edition is the culmination of more than six years of work, filling a major void in the upstream gas compression sector by providing comprehensive specifications, as well as extensive tutorial guidance, for high-speed reciprocating compressor packages.
The Ballot Draft of the new 3rd Edition is available for “public” review and comment until November 1, 2024.
All comments must be entered through the API web-based balloting system.
