Rover Pipeline LLC (Rover) is seeking US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorization to construct, own, and operate the proposed Rover-Bulger Compressor Station and Harmon Creek Meter Station Expansion Project. The project will be located adjacent to Rover’s existing Bulger Compressor Station in Smith Township, Pennsylvania. The project will provide Rover’s customers with an expanded source of supply and is designed to receive up to an additional 400,000 dekatherms per day.
Rover and Range Resources – Appalachia LLC (Range) recently entered into a long-term firm transportation service agreement. Range will obtain firm transportation service in an amount of 100,000 dekatherms per day and increasing to 250,000 dekatherms per day. In order to ensure delivery of the requested transportation quantities at the required pressures, Rover is proposing to construct, modify, own, and operate the following facilities: one new ultrasonic meter skid, one new flow control skid, one new filter separator, one new Caterpillar 3608/Ariel JGC4 compressor package, one new discharge filter separator, one new unit blowdown silencer, associated interconnect piping systems, extension of the existing header piping systems, and extension of the existing compressor building.
Construction of the US$21 million project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026 following receipt of applicable permits and clearances.
