Agder Hydrogen Hub AS has selected Hoerbiger to deliver two HCP 500 hydrogen compressor packages for its new hydrogen production facility in Fiskå, Kristiansand, Norway. Owned by Greenstat and its majority shareholder La Française de l’Energie (FDE), Agder Hydrogen Hub has started construction of a 60 MW hydrogen facility dedicated to supply green hydrogen to the maritime industry. Phase one of the project involves a 20 MW hydrogen facility expected to start late 2026, and a second phase, 40 MW plant that will be launched in 2027.
Each HCP 500 compressor package features Hoerbiger’s electric stepless capacity control system – eHydroCOM – and an Ariel KBH compressor. According to Hoerbiger, the eHydroCOM system allows a large operating window of the compressor which ensures perfect alignment with the requirements of the electrolyzers and the attached trailer filling application. Utilizing the KBH compressor, the HCP 500’s high mass flow of over 250 kg/h makes the compressor package ideal for trailer filling facilities and heavy-duty refueling stations.
Greenstat is a Norwegian green energy company that develops and owns its own projects and invests in external companies that contribute to zero-emission solutions and create green value.
