AERZEN, a global manufacturer of blowers, compressors, and turbos, has acquired GPE Turbo. Headquartered in a Leipzig, Germany, GPE Turbo specializes in single- and multi-stage turbo compressors for the process gas industry. The acquisition expands AERZEN’s product portfolio, particularly in high-pressure and large-volume flow applications.
GPE Turbo brings expertise in customized turbo solutions and technologies for applications such as hydrogen and other process gases. With the integration, AERZEN adds turbo compressors capable of handling pressures up to 4350 psi (300 bar) and volume flows up to 10.5 MMcf/h (300,000 m³/h). The company’s existing turbo series — Generation 5plus and Generation 5 — will be complemented by solutions for higher capacities, as well as expanded offerings in the low-pressure segment up to 22 psi (1.5 bar) for applications such as wastewater treatment, mining, and vapor compression.
Both companies will operate under the AERZEN Group, combining engineering expertise and global service networks to support process gas applications worldwide.
