Airpack Compressor Teknologies (Airpack), a designer, manufacturer, and supplier of high-precision sealing components for reciprocating compressors, with headquarters in New Delhi, has officially launched Airpack USA. The US operation operates from a warehouse and office in Montgomery, Texas, north of Houston, putting inventory, sales, and support in the same time zone as the company’s customers in the Americas.
Founded 46 years ago, Airpack manufactures and supplies:
- Compressor valves and valve assemblies
- Metallic and thermoplastic valve plates and ring plates, springs, seats, guards, unloaders, and other valve internals
- Piston rings and rider rings
- Rod packings and packing cases
- Pistons, piston rods, and related compressor components
- Customized compressor spare parts made to customer drawings and specifications
Airpack has supplied compressor components to customers in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other international markets. It supports a wide range of reciprocating compressor applications and works with companies in the oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, power generation, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and industrial markets.
Airpack USA is led by David Miseldine, vice president and general manager. Heather Miseldine manages the operations side of the business. Customers can send Airpack USA requests for quotation, drawings, specifications, or part numbers for review.
“One of the company’s goals is to grow, expand into new markets, and be close to the customer,” said Miseldine. “To do that in the Americas, we realized we needed a presence in the same time zone, parts on hand for fast support and supply, and, to make transactions easier, a US company in the United States.”
