MEPUSA has named Akira Hayasaka as president and chief executive officer. He joins MEPUSA from parent company Mitsui & Co., where he served as divisional operating officer, leading new business developments in the energy transition throughout the Americas, focusing on hydrogen, ammonia, and biofuels.
Headquartered in Houston, MEPUSA is an oil and gas exploration and production company. It has substantial investments in the Marcellus Shale Gas Project in Pennsylvania, the Eagle Ford Shale Oil & Gas Project in Texas, and the Kaikias Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Project. Additionally, MEPUSA has exploration rights in various high potential offshore basins located in South America.
