CECO Pipeline Services Co., a business unit of Compressor Engineering Corp. (CECO), has named Alex Hotze as vice president. He joined the company five years ago, most recently serving as general manager. As vice president, Hotze will be responsible for overseeing business development and will work closely with senior leadership to further strengthen the company’s position in the pipeline industry.
CECO Pipeline Services Co. is a contractor for pipeline operators, providing natural gas and liquid pipeline construction, maintenance services (including coating repair), and above-ground painting. Its list of services includes new line lays, take up and relay, pipeline integrity work, fabrication, coating applications, corrosion remediation services, erosion control, mechanical services, compliance work, and above-ground painting.
Headquartered in Houston, CECO has been delivering products and services to the natural gas, petrochemical, industrial, and defense markets since 1964. It serves gas transmission, midstream (gas gathering and gas processing), petrochemical, refining, and other industries. CECO has more than 20,000 detailed engineering drawings and specifications and inventories over US$8 million in compressor and engine spare parts.
