SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI) will supply an oil-free high-pressure hydrogen compressor for Italy’s Falconara Hydrogen Project. The contract was awarded by Opificio Idrogeno Marche, a company formed by Renco SpA and the Pollarini Group to create a Hydrogen Valley at the former Montedison plant in Ancona, Italy.

Renco is helping to support the Marche region in establishing three ‘Hydrogen Valleys’ in the Falconara Marittima municipality, across three decommissioned industrial areas designated for green hydrogen production from renewable sources, supported by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2026 and aims to produce 200 tons of hydrogen each year to power public transport vehicles.
