New Isreal To Egypt Pipeline Moves Forward

Chevron has signed a US$610 million deal with Israel Natural Gas Lines to build the Nitzana pipeline. Expected to be completed in 2028, the 40-mile (65-km) pipeline will transport natural gas from Israel to Egypt and carry at least 600 MMcf/d (16.9 x 106 m3/d) of natural gas, potentially boosting Israel’s export capacity to Egypt to more than 2.2 bcf/d (62.2 x 106 m3/d).
