Burckhardt Compression plans to increase the size of its board of directors. The company’s board will propose adding Mariateresa Vacalli as a board member at its next general meeting on July 1, 2022. If approved, Burckhardt Compression’s board will increase from five members to six.
Vacalli currently serves as the CEO of Bank Cler, a position she will hold until the beginning of May. She has served in numerous leadership positions throughout her career, including chief digital officer of Basler Kantonalbank; director, network support and development, at Cablecom; and executive director wholesale operations at Sunrise Communications.
She is a graduate of the ETH, Electrical Engineering, with a Degree in Production and Operations Management.
Subject to her election at the annual general meeting, she will also join the audit committee of Burckhardt Compression.
