Burckhardt Compression (Burckhardt) has appointed Andreas Brautsch as president, systems division, and member of the executive management team. He will join Burckhardt on October 1. He previously served as group vice president and global leader of the switchgear business at Hitachi Energy.
Brautsch has more than 20 years of experience, having worked for such companies as Hitachi Energy, ABB, General Electric, Alstom Power, and Siemens. He has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the TH Regensburg, Germany, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Edinburgh University, UK.
