Ariel is partnering with the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), Russia’s premier institution specializing in the hydrocarbon energy sector, to provide training in Moscow.
The Moscow Ariel Training Center, located within the Gubkin University’s laboratories, features video-equipped classroom space, a three-ton overhead crane, requisite tooling, an Ariel JGJ 2-throw compressor designated for demonstrations and hands-on practicum, as well as an accompanying drive-shaft module used for driver-compressor alignment training. Common areas frequented by institute students, staff, and guests feature prominent Ariel branding, site photography, and a 4-throw compressor model.
Ariel’s Russian-language classes are taught by Moscow-based engineering personnel and cover the curriculum of the Ariel Basic School, Technical School, and Mechanics School. This training center supports distributor and end-user personnel, along with Gubkin University engineering students, the company said. This Ariel training center and its staff also allows for the development of additional courses and specializations in the future.
