Opero Energy, an affiliate of Audubon Companies, has opened a new fabrication facility in Houston, Texas. The 60,000-sq.ft. (5574-m2) facility will provide modular fabrication and assembly services for the oil and gas industry. In conjunction with in-house modular fabrication, Opero Energy will provide full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services and technologies to support entire project lifecycles, including conceptual design, detailed engineering and design, and construction.
The facility includes two fabrication bays each measuring 350 ft. (106 m) long and 68 ft. (21 m) wide and 155 tons (140 tonnes) of overall lifting capacity, including six 25-ton (22-tonne) bridge cranes with a hook height of 23 ft. (7 m).
“The new facility will house our complete testing and fabrication services with room to expand as needed,” said Manish Mehta, President of Opero Energy. “We are very excited about enhancing our capabilities to provide technologies that decrease project risks, lower capital and project construction costs, and provide our clients with a total solution.”
Headquartered in Houston, Opero Energy is a global provider of gas processing and treating technologies and engineered module fabrication services for the oil and gas industry.
