The 2020 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The OTC board of directors had initially hoped to reschedule the annual conference to Third Quarter 2020. In light of the continued impact of the unfolding pandemic, the board has formally canceled the 2020 OTC.
“As we navigate these difficult and uncertain times, it is with a heavy heart that the OTC Board of Directors has determined that it is in our best interest to cancel OTC 2020. Our priority is the health and safety of our attendees and exhibitors, and we have taken federal, state, and local guidelines into account in making our decision,” said OTC Chair, Cindy Yeilding.
Plans are now underway for OTC 2021. The call for papers will open on May 28, 2020. The 2021 OTC is scheduled to take place May 3 to 6 in Houston, Texas, USA.
