New GCA Webinar Series To Provide Scholarships To Gas Compression College Programs

    The Gas Compressor Association (GCA) is hosting a webinar series designed to provide educational workshops, networking, and financial support to its gas compression college partners by continuing to offer scholarships and grants.

    Beginning on July 22, the GCA will host a new webinar every two weeks. The GCA Reconnect webinar series includes seven hours of educational sessions and certificates of completion for internal continuing education credit.

    The cost for the entire series is US$99 per person. All registration and sponsorship fees are being applied directly to the GCA College Partner Fund.

    The GCA partners with colleges to help develop and maintain programs that will train new compressor mechanics and operators. Through the financial success of the annual GCA Expo & Conference, the association is able to provide monetary support to its college partners. To date, the GCA has provided more than US$400,000. Additionally, GCA members have donated equipment, supplies, and experience to these college programs.

    The GCA College Partner Fund currently supports:

    • Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Oklahoma
    • Panola College, Texas
    • San Juan College, New Mexico
    • Western Wyoming Community College, Wyoming
