Compass Energy Systems Ltd. (Compass), a provider of compression and gas processing systems worldwide, has expanded its parts and service division into the southern United States.
Compass currently has a US service team covering the northwestern United States to support the gas compression and processing products coming out of its Canadian manufacturing operations. According to Compass, this expansion is focused on providing parts and services to energy companies located in the southern United States, and the initial focus of this team is to provide gas compression and process refrigeration services to the north Texas and Oklahoma regions.
“Right on the heels of our recent acquisition of Exterran’s US compression (see “Poised For Growth,” October 2020 Gas Compression Magazine, p. 20), now is the perfect time to expand our service offerings into the southern United States,” said John Forgeron, president at Compass. “When we made the decision to acquire these US compression assets, we knew that expanding our parts and service offerings was something we would do to meet the high customer demands in the southern US for reliable and fast service by experienced and OEM-trained field service technicians.”
