Chris Barnes has been named senior sales director for Zahroof Valves Inc. (ZVI). In this role, Barnes will be responsible for all aspects of North American sales. Barnes has more than 14 years of experience leading oil and gas sales and operations. He previously served as business development and national accounts manager for MRC Global, a distributor of pipe, valve, and fitting products to energy and industrial markets. Barnes earned a Bachelor of Science in Business marketing management from Virginia Tech University.
Headquartered in Houston, ZVI offers compressor valves based on its modular reed valve technology. Its StraightFlo valve is a drop-in replacement compressor valve that is made up of replaceable reed valve modules designed so that the gas flows essentially in a straight line through the valve.
