Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline Inc. (Southern Star) has named Dave Roberts as vice president, commercial services and strategy. He will lead the company’s Commercial Services, Strategic Growth, and Enterprise Excellence teams. Roberts joined Southern Star as director, Enterprise Excellence in November 2023. Prior to joining Southern Star, Roberts served as global director of distribution and logistics for Unifirst Corp.
Roberts holds an undergraduate degree from Murray State University and an MBA from the University of Mississippi. He is past chair of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and currently serves as vice chair of the Owensboro Health Board of Directors and on the Board of Trustees for Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Headquartered in Owensboro, Kentucky, Southern Star owns and operates approximately 5800 miles (9334 km) of natural gas transmission pipeline, 43 compressor stations, and eight gas storage fields throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, and Nebraska.
