TGN Names General Manager

Transportadora de Gas del Norte S.A. (TGN) has named Horacio Pizarro as general manager. For the past 25 years, Pizarro has held various positions within the Techint Organization, most recently serving as Senior Director of Joint Ventures, Non‑Operated Assets & Midstream at Tecpetrol. He is an industrial engineer who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and holds a postgraduate degree in Reservoir Operations and Reservoir Engineering from the Gas and Petroleum Institute of the University of Buenos Aires.

TGN is one of Argentina’s leading high‑pressure natural gas transportation companies. The company manages more than 7000 miles (11,265 km) of gas pipelines, making its system the largest in Argentina and one of the most expansive in South America. Its operations include 22 compressor stations totaling more than 392,000 hp (292,432 kW) of installed capacity. Through this network, TGN transports roughly 40% of the natural gas injected into Argentina’s main pipelines and connects the country with Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, and Uruguay.
