Boardwalk Pipelines LP (Boardwalk) is in the early development phases of a new interstate pipeline. Designed to provide access to Texas gas supplies for liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporters, utilities, and industrial applications, the Texas Gateway Project plans to combine the footprint of Boardwalk subsidiary Gulf South Pipeline Company with new greenfield infrastructure to aggregate natural gas supplies from the Katy and Carthage, Texas, hubs for delivery to Southwest Louisiana.

While the final route and design are still being determined, the project is expected to include a new compressor station in San Jacinto County, Texas; additional compression at existing Gulf South compressor stations; and approximately 155 miles of new pipeline infrastructure in Texas and Louisiana.
The targeted in-service date is November 1, 2029. Survey permission requests are currently being sent to landowners to help determine the best route.
